In 2008 a group of concerned citizens met to discuss opening a no-kill shelter facility for Limestone County, Texas. Since that first meeting, Limestone Animal Rescue Adoption Shelter (LARAS House) has become a reality. At its brand new home, located at 1517 Hwy 171 N, LARAS House houses dogs in a clean, safe and attractive 10 kennel facility built solely on donations from the public, area businesses and county resources.
